That's right. Next month I will heading out to New York City for the summer. Somehow securing myself an internship in the heart of the garment district, I am throwing myself into the competitive world of fashion. And what a way I'm doing it.

SO...surreal day!
On my way to Leicester at 8 in the morning wearing my new outfit I bought espeically for the royals earlier this week, I was feeling calm and mentally prepared for meeting old tutors, ex students, and most importantly seeing royals! It was going to be a big day. This was until I received a phone call from my friend Vikki, also a nervy De Montfort graduate who was making her way down to see her collection in the show. SO...Tomorrow my final collection is being show at a fashion show where the Queen and the Duchess of Cambridge will be attending!! That's right, her majesty the Queen and Kate are visiting De Montfort University as part of the Diamond Jubilee tour and I was one of the few students asked to take part in the show. SO excited!! Lots of press and 400 VIP guests attending so fingers crossed for lots of publicity. I'm helping dress back stage. Pictures to follow!!

SO...at last!!! I have finally put up the pictures from the photoshoot of my 1st SOSOPHIE sportswear collection. Inspired by mens 80s vintage running gear, I have styled these sexy sports shorts with my signature sheepskin bomber jacket and leather trim ribbed vests. Creating this ever-so-slightly "camp" look which I love, be expecting more hoodies and outerwear pieces next!
