Inspired by mens 80s vintage running gear, I have styled these sexy sports shorts with my signature sheepskin bomber jacket and  leather trim ribbed vests. Creating this ever-so-slightly “camp” look which I love, be expecting more hoodies and outerwear pieces next!

I bought a coat. Brown suede and sheepskin lamb nappa jacket. Beautiful. A ‘January sales’ treasure. You may be wondering why this is bad….but it is. As an owner of twenty-one outerwear jackets and coats (yes twenty-one, one for each year of my existence) I really thought hard to myself, do I need just one more? After long consideration, the answer I came out with was YES! I have an addiction to outerwear garments. Is there a name for that? Open my wardrobe and my collection ranges from sheepskin fur coats, customized beaded leather jackets, colourful 80’s ski jackets and Adidas classics with the iconic three stripes (of course) some new, vintage, some real and some fake! My recent favourite is my Barbour quilted jacket with its shiny gold poppers that I received for my 21st birthday from my dad. There’s my hand – me down Northface beauty that I use for the garden (with its inbuilt fleece.) My £1 charity- shop find faded denim jacket that I live in over summer for festivals. Oh and how could I forget about my  light weight red h&m rain Mac with metal toggles and attachable hood that shelters me from the sometimes harsh but typical British weather! The list goes on. It’s really hard to have a favourite, as I love them all SO much. However, you must know, I do not wear all of them, each one of them are so very different and for some reason, (as sad as this may be) I am fascinated with how all of them have been designed and constructed!  They are SO important to me and I know I would not be the designer I am today without them! Ok, so I’m no Bryan Boy who probably has a collection 50 times my little one, but I am in love with the functionality and uniqueness of these clothes, and I am discovering that these jackets of mine are a BIG part of who I am. SO, back to this jacket that I bought for myself yesterday, it is not just ‘another coat’, it is my food of inspiration for my next design, something I must have!!!
